Costumes

A good costume can help an actor find their character. Often putting a costume on will help an actor with things posture and mannerisms. This allows them to really become their character.

Performers often feel like they cannot ask for what they need to be comfortable. I always ask the question, “Do you feel good and confident in this” and if the answer is no, “What can I do to help?” An actor can focus on their work when they are not worrying about how their costume fits or being distracted when their dress pinches.
